| Descrizione dell'offerta: | Our client, a leading international telecommunications company, is looking for a: Senior Engineer E2E Service Engineering for its Swiss Branch located near Lausanne His/her main responsibilities: - elaborate the E2E Service Engineering monitoring solutions of voice and data services, developing technical and economical model - responsibility for the E2E technical design and architecture of voice and data services and of monitoring solutions in a best quality fashion within the available budget - supporting the interface with Business, Marketing & Strategy development and Customer Support in the tech-eco analysis of new services and the definition of Service Levels for existing and new services - define engineering standards and technical design processes and guidelines for E2E Service Engineering domain, defining the E2E technical quality assurance and contribute to the overall technical strategy - perform Service performance degradation root cause analysis and troubleshooting - elaborate the technical specifications for equipment suppliers. Lead the technical analysis and negotiations during RFP and vendor selection process; perform the HW/SW validation either in lab or in collaboration with skill centers; develop equipment guidelines (equipment configuration - manage the introduction of new products and solutions with the service provider in charge of rollout and operation - perform project management of new solution optimising the network, in order to maintain and improve the cost and quality levels according to agreed standards - ensure correct planning and provisioning of network capacity for the domain she/he is in charge of, and in accordance with Service Provider obligation - monitor and control E2E Service Engineering cost efficiency and investments - manage Suppliers relations with Service Management Center and Procurement - manage and develop good relationship with authority (BAKOM), working with Regulatory department; develop technical and economical studies on those domain when required - manage Service Provider relation as a member of the demand organisation to ensure best implementation of E2E Service Engineering recommended solutions - coach other engineers in their day to day activities. Be the mentor of new employee starting in the team. Perform internal trainings to other employees on key technical domains The successful candidate has an Degree in Electronics, Telecom or IT environment, a minimum of 7 years experience in design of E2E Service architecture (multi layer and multi technology network) and the following skills: - knowledge in GSM & UMTS Core & Ran, SDH, PDH, ATM and IP technology expertise, VAS and IT - solid experience in project management of telecom solutions deployment - good knowledge of mobile network standards and technologies (GSM/UMTS/WiFi and their evolution) - at least 5 years experience in Nokia Network - knowledge in Optimisation of Network would be an asset Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential, knowledge of French would be a plus.
